Job title : IT Field Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI 48242
We are seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to provide onsite technical support in a dynamic enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with strong desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop and field support to end users.
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 environments.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts and basic networking issues.
- Resolve hardware and software incidents within SLA timelines.
- Document work performed using an IT ticketing system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting business users.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of Desktop Support or IT Field Support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory and basic networking concepts
- Hands-on experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
- IMAC and break/fix support experience
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
