Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior ALM Tool Support Engineer (Lead/SME) to manage and support enterprise ALM tools, provide L2/L3 support, lead a support team, and ensure smooth operation of the engineering toolchain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ALM administration, Dev Ops integration, governance, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L2/L3 support for ALM tools including Polarion, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, JFrog Artifactory, SVN, and Perforce
. - Administer projects, workflows, permissions, repositories, and user access.
- Troubleshoot tool issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve performance problems.
- Manage tool upgrades, patches, backups, restore, and migration activities.
- Support integrations between ALM tools, CI/CD pipelines, and external applications.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability across requirements, development, testing, and releases.
- Monitor tool health, prepare dashboards, KPIs, SLA reports, and governance metrics.
- Lead and mentor the ALM support team while ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Dev Ops, and Infrastructure teams.
- Create SOPs, knowledge base articles, and user documentation.
- Support Agile, Dev Ops, and SDLC processes while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- 8+ years of experience in ALM tools administration and support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Polarion, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, and Confluence
. - Experience with JFrog Artifactory, SVN, and Perforce
. - Strong knowledge of ALM, SDLC, Agile, and Dev Ops
. - Experience with L2/L3 support
, incident management, and root cause analysis. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and tool integrations
. - Experience creating dashboards, reports, KPIs, and SLA metrics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- MATLAB/Simulink integration.
- Python, Shell, or Groovy scripting.
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
- Experience with PLM tools and embedded engineering environments.
