This is a full‑time, on‑site Information Technology Consultant role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Information Technology Consultant will assess business requirements, analyze existing systems, and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, security, and reliability. Day‑to‑day tasks include providing hands‑on technical support to internal teams, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with external vendors when needed. The role also involves advising on IT best practices, supporting implementation of new tools or system upgrades, and documenting processes, configurations, and user guidelines.
The consultant will collaborate closely with accounting and operations staff to ensure that technology aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, with working knowledge of networks, systems, and business software.
- Experience in IT Consulting and Consulting, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into practical technology solutions.
- Proficiency in Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Well‑developed Analytical Skills to assess systems, identify gaps, and propose improvements based on data and business priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on‑site full time in the Detroit Metropolitan Area and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting or professional services environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are considered an advantage.
