About the Role
As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager with this Detroit based independent agency you’ll be responsible for stepping into a team that is experiencing terrific growth. This is a high volume, high‑engagement role working with small and mid‑sized businesses in industries such as home health care, non‑profits, retail, contractors, property managers, and manufacturers.
Duties & Responsibilities- Serve as the primary client service point of contact to the insured handling a host of different issues that come up including changes in exposure, additions and cancellations of policies, billing and claims concerns, renewal preparation and marketing; creating RFPs, and communicating with the sales team on updates pre‑closing
- Answer questions about coverage and pricing, create and execute the renewal cycle, coordinate all renewal marketing and create RFPs
- Minimum three (3) years of property and casualty insurance experience in agency client service
- Active state insurance license
