Role and Responsibilities
* Aide to help bilingual and regular education students in the English Language Arts:
Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. (Spanish Speaking)
* Supervise students before and after class/lunch.
* Keep records as required by the program.
* Perform other duties as requested by the building administrator or designee.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Must meet the Highly Qualified Standards for Paraprofessionals as defined by No Child Left Behind
* Minimum of 60 credit hours or associate's degree from accredited college.
* Passing score on state approved assessment.
* Oral proficiency in English and at least one other language. (Preferable Arabic)
* Previous experience working with school aged children in an educational setting preferred
