Labor & Employment Associate

Overview

Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated 3rd-4th year associate (Class of ) to join their nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Detroit office.

• Provide strong legal support in labor and employment matters, including case assessment, research, drafting, and client advising.
• Assist with temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings.
• Engage in trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation, wage and hour class action litigation, union negotiations, and OSHA matters.
• Represent single plaintiff employment matters and contribute to case strategy and advocacy.

• 3rd-4th year associate (Class of ) with top academics.
• Experience with TRO/temporary injunctions, trade secret and noncompete litigation, wage-and-hour class actions, union negotiations, OSHA matters, and single plaintiff employment litigation.
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic.
• Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills; ability to thrive in a busy, collegial environment.
• Must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Michigan Bar.

The expected salary for this position is $260,000-$310,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors.
