Michigan-Licensed Litigation Attorneys (Remote/Flexible)
Latitude is looking to meet skilled and experienced Michigan-licensed litigation attorneys to fill contract roles as they arise with several national and regional law firm clients, in addition to roles with national corporate clients. These roles offer exciting opportunities for attorneys with 2-8+ years of litigation experience, including general, commercial, or personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.
Successful candidates will contribute to all phases of litigation, including:
- Conducting document discovery and evidence management.
- Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
- Handling depositions, attending status conferences, and arguing motions.
- Collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver top-tier legal services.
While candidates must hold a Michigan bar license and be in good standing, they are welcome to reside in other states.

Minimum Requirements For The Michigan-Licensed Litigation Attorneys- 2-8+ years of proven litigation experience, including court appearances, depositions, and motion practice.
- Active Michigan bar membership in good standing.
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- A client-service-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and independent environment.>

- Pay:
The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). - Benefits:
In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
