This is a full‑time on‑site position located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area for an Associate Litigation Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for managing a variety of civil liability defense cases, including conducting legal research, drafting and filing motions, discovery, review of medical records, pretrial hearings and depositions. Additional responsibilities include appearing in court, preparing trial strategies, and representing clients during all stages of litigation.

• Strong knowledge of Michigan No Fault laws court rules and procedures
• Proficient withlegal research and interpretation of the law
• Experience in drafting, filing, and arguing motions
• Familiarity with court procedures and experience presenting and advocating in state and federal courts
• Proficiency in conducting depositions
• Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and effective time management abilities
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and membership in the Michigan State Bar is required
• Prior experience in insurance defense or civil litigation is preferred
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality
