Load Planner – Detroit, MI
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
Pay rate: $25/hr.
Primary responsibilities- Entering customer orders into the computer system
- Report and advise customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner
- Informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise
- Printing order and and coordinating the daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control
- Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
- Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Organizational skills.
