The Global Capacity Planner is an external‑facing role that collaborates with Sales to understand customer demand signals and verifies adequate component capacity for multi‑branch tooling and processes. The role works with Operations to manage supply constraints, partners with Category Management and Finance to identify and justify capacity investment opportunities, and continuously enhances the capacity planning process for quality analysis and efficient supply constraint mitigation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare models to plan tooling/process capacity of critical, multi‑branch suppliers effectively. Analyze short and medium‑term data from Sales, Operations, and Suppliers to monitor supply/customer demand balance.
  • Develop recommendations to manage capacity/customer demand gaps. Align with the Business, Sales, & Procurement teams.
  • Identify continuous supply/demand gaps. Work with Category Management to develop cost‑effective solutions and present recommendations to Purchasing, Finance and Business Leadership.
  • Design and maintain all performance capacity reports and statistics for management.
  • Monitor multi‑branch external supplier capacity to ensure adequate supply to meet customer demand.
  • Prepare recommendations for short‑term and medium‑term capacity adjustments. Secure alignment with critical stakeholders.
  • Develop process to update and maintain effective capacity limits in supply planning applications (Blue Yonder).
  • Represent Procurement as the point of contact highlighting critical supply chain decisions tied to volume requirements.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
Experience Needed
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive outcomes.
  • Business acumen and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams, including Asia and Europe.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning.
  • Collaboration with other team members and departments.
