Position Title: Merchandise Allocator Department:
Wholesale

Reports To: Vice President, Wholesale Account Services

Position Summary:

As a Merchandise Allocator within our Wholesale Account Services Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely allocation and picking of products across our distribution network. Reporting to the Vice President, Wholesale Account Services, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the overall efficiency of the allocation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily inventory allocation tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaboratewiththe Inside Sales Support and Decoration Operations Managerstoprioritizeand  allocate products based on demand forecasts.
• Regularly audit and reconcile inventory records in Net Suite to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in allocated quantities.
• Assign decoration vendors to all orders receiving decoration.
• Buildandsenddailyreportsofpicksandorderswitherrorstothe Inside Sales Support team .
• Communicateeffectivelywiththe
  
  Warehouse,Inside Sales Support ,and Logisticsteamsto understand product demand and inventory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to addressallocationchallengesand ensuretimelyresolution.
• Ensure all customer routing guidelines and specific logistics details are met.
• AdheretoallEDIrequirementsforcustomersthatutilizethisfunctionality.
• Adhere to established inventoryallocationprocessesand guidelines.
• Assist in the Identification of process improvement opportunities.
• Bachelor’sdegreeinbusiness,Supply Chain Management ,orarelatedfield.
• 3+yearsofexperienceininventorymanagementorarelatedfield.
• Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
