Supply Chain Operations Associate

Role Overview: The Supply Chain Operations Associate is responsible for managing operational functions related to material availability and inventory control for the General Motors LLP account.

• Ensure timely shipment and delivery of purchased parts
• Act as the primary contact for suppliers
• Coordinate shipment schedules
• Develop containment plans to prevent production disruptions
• Arrange alternative sourcing or spot buys if needed
• Monitor truck loads to support production schedules

• Review part buffers
• Manage inventory adjustments
• Document exceptions
• Maintain accurate inventory data
• Perform other assigned tasks as required

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least one year of administrative experience, with five or more years of relevant experience recommended
• Must possess strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
