The Operational Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our internal customers’ experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with the Operational Care Center (OCC). Specifically, the Operational Care Specialist is part of a team within OCC, who are responsible for direct interaction with Customer Care Locations (CCL), proactive customer service, problem solving, follow up, interaction with our customer service colleagues.

• Process shipment documentation with a high degree of accuracy and compliance, ensuring end-to-end visibility and seamless execution throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Manage customer‑specific requirements by proactively monitoring priorities, responding to inquiries, and delivering timely solutions through multiple communication channels.
• Partner closely with the Customer Care Lead (CCL) to support customer commitments by analyzing KPI performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to corrective and preventive action plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive the adoption and utilisation of automation solutions within Operational Care processes, enhancing efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain the integrity of customer information across core operating systems by coordinating Business Profile creation, updates, and ongoing maintenance, while ensuring customer Wiki pages remain accurate, current, and comprehensive.
• Foster strong internal partnerships to support operational excellence, deliver a superior customer experience, and drive continuous process improvement.

• 1+ years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, or Sea logistics
• Basic understanding of logistics operations and regulations, with willingness to learn Healthcare & Perishables requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Ability to work with logistics systems, dashboards, and data to support daily operations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Highly organised with strong decision‑making capabilities
• Ability to work effectively under time pressures in a fast‑paced environment
