Service Technician

Position: Service Technician - $1000 Sign On Bonus

Overview

Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, is looking to hire a Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the property, grounds, and equipment are safe, orderly, and visibly appealing.

Responsibilities

• Perform building repairs, snow removal, or groundskeeping to provide residents with a clean and well-maintained living environment
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure all service requests are responded to in a timely manner
• Manage inventory and oversee the cleanliness and orderly condition of the maintenance shop
• Maintain and care for equipment as necessary for its continuous operation
• Complete emergency repairs as required to prevent damage or deterioration
• Document replacement of appliances, carpet, vinyl, water heaters, condensers, etc., in all units. Track system repairs, apartment painting (full or touch-up), refrigerator coil cleaning, and other major repairs
• Note building deficiencies or needs to Supervisor in writing

Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or related vocational training and/or equivalent work experience
• 1 year of experience in a similar field required
• HVAC knowledge and EPA certification preferred

Physical Demands

This position requires frequent standing and walking with occasional bending over or reaching overhead. Ability to pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a combination of office and shop environments and may involve exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
