About the Job

As a Janitorial Specialist at Allied, you’ll learn about all of our accounts and travel to various locations to cover shifts or provide additional assistance where it’s needed.

Flooring/stripping/waxing and supervisor experience is required.

• Covering shifts for other janitorial staff
• Detail cleaning work
• Floor cleaning
• Clean restrooms
• Vacuum, sweep and mop
• Collect trash
• Wipe surfaces
• Other various cleaning related tasks

• Has reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and a valid driver’s license
• Janitorial experience
• Floor care experience

We have Direct Service teams that service commercial buildings needing Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Dock & Door needs in all the Greater‑Metro Detroit Area, as well as our National Service teams that service commercial buildings on the West Side of the state including some of Indiana and Ohio as well as an office located in Littleton, Colorado. We also have a Construction team that does commercial buildings in areas surrounding Detroit, Utica and Rockwood.

And last but not least, where it all began, a Janitorial team and High‑Rise Window Cleaning team.
