Company OverviewFlowtec is partnered with a nationally recognized real estate and development organization seeking a Project Manager to support two major ground-up multifamily developments. This position reports directly to the Director of Construction and plays a key leadership role across all phases of project delivery.
Position OverviewThe Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day site and operational oversight, ensuring each project progresses efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the overall development strategy. This role serves as the central coordination point between internal teams, consultants, trade partners, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all stages of project execution, from early planning through turnover
- Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying schedule risks and adjusting sequences to maintain critical milestones.
- Conduct regular field reviews to verify workmanship, safety practices, and overall project progress.
- Manage procurement activities, including evaluating trade proposals, issuing work packages, and coordinating contract execution.
- Review technical documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to confirm accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain organized project records, including agreements, insurance certificates, logs, and cost documentation.
- Lead the evaluation and processing of change events, supporting budget updates, forecasting, and overall cost management.
- Facilitate communication among designers, engineers, contractors, and agency representatives to resolve issues and keep project activities on track.
- Support financial oversight by assisting with billing reviews, reporting requirements, and risk identification.
- 5+ years of experience delivering multifamily, mid-rise, or high-rise construction projects.
- Strong field experience overseeing ground-up construction activities.
- Proven ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and solve problems under pressure.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred.
