Solar Construction Manager - Utility Scale
We currently seek a high caliber Solar Construction Manager for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based on various project sites for in the western USA.
Job Requirements- Assists in the planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects.
- Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
- Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to other members of the project team.
- Prepares reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
- Prepares notices and change order documentation for the client and project management.
- Determines and manages schedules and budgets for assigned project proposal and close outs, monitors progress, and manages material logistics. Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate seamless coordination between the office and field.
- Supports the relationship with the customer at a professional and technical level - including supporting questions, evaluation requirements and system design.
- Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors. Motivate and manage to keep on task.
- Manage performance, productivity and work quality of all field management, subcontractors, and vendors to complete projects on time.
- Order and coordinate the delivery of material and equipment to optimize job efficiency, ensure production is not impacted or additional cost incurred.
- Implements and enforces all company and contractual policies, safety standards and installation best practices.
- Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
- Proficient at reading and understanding construction plans and specifications.

- Spectrum and Procore experience preferred.

Experience:
- 4-year degree in Construction (or related field) from an accredited university, or
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics consistent with the required qualifications as determined in the job description.
Required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of Citizenship
- OSHA 30 HR
- CPR / First Aid / AED
