Location: Aberdeen, South Dakota

Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000+ (Based on experience) + Profit-Based Bonuses

Sign-On/Relocation Incentive: $25,000 Total ($5,000 paid annually over 5 years)

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service and Operations Manager with extensive hands on knowledge of both commercial and residential HVAC systems. This role requires a strong leader who can manage technicians, oversee daily operations, ensure profitably, and maintain exception service quality across all divisions.

• Lead and manage commercial and residential HVAC teams.
• Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial and residential projects, ensuring they are completed on time, under budget, and beyond code.

  Act as the "Senior Technical Authority"—mentoring technicians on-site and teaching the use of advanced diagnostic tools.
• Operations & Logistics: Manage inventory, coordinate equipment deliveries for large-scale jobs, and streamline service delivery processes.
• Financial Oversight: Drive profitability through smart job costing, labor management, and margin analysis.
• Estimating & Design: Review HVAC blueprints and provide accurate estimates for diverse projects, coordinating seamlessly with GCs, engineering firms, and vendors.
• Growth Strategy: Collaborate directly with ownership to scale the division and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with the accounting to ensure precise progress billing using Schedule of Values on Commercial HVAC projects.
• Ensure quality control, code compliance, and safety standards are consistently met.

We are looking for a veteran of the trade who commands respect through expertise and leadership.

• Experience: 10+ years in HVAC (Residential & Commercial) with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Furnaces, Boilers, RTUs, VRF systems, and Commercial Controls.
• Licensing: Proper certifications and a valid Refrigeration License are required.
• Drive: A valid driver’s license with a clean record and a "get-it-done" attitude.
• Communication: The ability to build strong relationships with everyone from field crews to General Contractors.
