- Oversee enterprise-wide safety programs and contractor safety compliance. Lead safety governance meetings, track key metrics (OSHA rates, man-hours), and report performance to senior leadership.
- Provide field support, conduct safety observations, and respond to incidents and near-misses, including coordinating investigations and corrective actions.
- Manage audits and regulatory readiness (including MIOSHA), issue safety communications and alerts, and organize Safety Stand-Downs when needed.
- Oversee contractor safety training and compliance, drive safety culture initiatives, and ensure lessons learned are implemented across the organization.
- Support continuous improvement through policy feedback and emerging safety technology evaluation.
