Branch Manager - Full Time

Location of Position: Detroit, MI.
Salary: Neg.
Days: Monday through Friday (some Saturdays)
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Branch Manager serves as a trusted financial leader who strengthens the community by helping members achieve financial success while supporting the credit union’s mission of providing accessible, affordable, and member-focused financial services.
- Hire, coach, train,and develop branch team members.
- Create a positive, service-focused culture that supports engagement and accountability.
- Motivate team members to achieve branch goals and member service standards.
2. Business Development & Community Engagement
- Develop strategies to grow membership, deposits and loans.
- Identify opportunities to expand market presence within the community.
- Increase partnerships that increase awareness of the credit union’s services.
3. Operations Management
- Oversee all branch operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and security .
- Manage cash controls, ATM balancing, vault operations, and dual-control procedures .
- Ensure proper staffing levels, scheduling and monitor branch expenses and operational performance.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with NCUA regulations, BSA/AML requirements, OFAC regulations, and all internal policies.
- Maintain audit readiness and address findings promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial institution experience. Credit Union experience preferred.
- Experience in consumer lending and deposit operations.
- Must have a strong interest in giving back to the community.
