Shift: Afternoon Shift Monday-Friday 3PM-11:30AM //5%

How Will You Make an Impact?The Material Handler will perform shipping and receiving operations to support the site with the production of animal-based peptones.
A Day in the LifeResponsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming materials, checking for damages, and ensuring proper documentation.
Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or delivery trucks.
Responsible for efficiently arranging materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and inventory management to facilitate easy retrieval.
Assemble, deduct and deliver items for requisition and shop orders.
Prepare shipping documents, label packages, and coordinate with carriers or logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment:
Adhere to safety protocols, organize work areas, and report any hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members:
Work closely with other warehouse personnel, such as supervisors, forklift operators, and shipping/receiving clerks, to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
ExperienceNone required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- No previous experience required
- Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field preferred.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to obtain a hi-lo license.
