Primary Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesExecute cycle counts daily, ensuring that all items are counted:
- A item count schedule monthly
- B item count schedule quarterly
- C item count schedule twice annually
Ensure counts are performed according to the documented procedure.
All count documents are turned in complete and accurate.
Any non-conformance to material handling process is documented and reported to the PCL Manager.
Participate as a QRCI team member for variances greater than 5%.
Assist in the audit/tracking of permanent corrective action tasks.
Review transaction reporting processes (Shipping, Receiving, Transfers, Scrap, Production Receipts) to ensure that all production activity is reported and processed in a timely manner, ensuring up to date and accurate balances on hand.
Required Skills/Education/ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and/or qualifications:
- Associates Degree preferred with a desire for a career in Production Control Logistics
- (2) or more years of experience in production in an industrial environment (automotive preferred)
- Skilled problem solver/mathematically adept
- Computer literate and experienced in all facets of materials scheduling, planning and inventory control techniques
- Knowledge of FCS/SAP a plus
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Sound organizational skills
Position is on B Crew - Tuesday - Friday 6 am - 4:30 pm
