Salary: $23-$25/hr (BOE)
Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 2-2-3 schedule
Location: Detroit, MI

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload bulk chemicals from tankers, railcars, totes, and drums
- Transfer materials using pumps, valves, hoses, and material-handling equipment
- Collect, label, and submit chemical samples for testing
- Verify materials against work orders and maintain accurate documentation
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling tools
- Follow all safety, PPE, and hazardous-material requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA)
- Inspect hoses, connections, and loading systems for leaks or equipment issues
- Maintain clean, organized loading, storage, and staging areas
- Assist with inventory counts and chemical tracking systems
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support daily operations
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in chemical handling, industrial manufacturing, or tanker loading preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working with chemicals, pumps, valves, and transfer equipment
- Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb stairs, and work in indoor/outdoor industrial settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
