Production Operator
Job DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our night shift team. In this role, you will rotate between different machinery and responsibilities on the plant floor, ensuring the smooth operation of machines without any issues.
Responsibilities- Load and unload fiberglass materials.
- Operate winding and unwinding stations efficiently.
- Manage the dip station operations.
- Stack rolls using the hilo.
- Apply wrap to the rolls.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing floor role or machine operating role.
- Experience with manual machinery, excluding assembly roles.
- Stable work history with at least 2 years in each previous role.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, machine operation, general labor, assembly, packaging, and loading.
The facility is cleaner than most manufacturing environments but does have a chemical smell similar to paint. Expect variable temperatures, being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The area can become dusty during shifts, and employees are expected to be on their feet for the entire duration of their shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
