Job Summary
Responsible for following manufacturing instructions to perform production and shipping related duties to ensure on‑time production and shipment of product while adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities- Operate production equipment in accordance with training and work instructions to ensure safety and product quality.
- Prepare mixing vessels, pumps, and hoses for unloading.
- Inspect containers for cleanliness and integrity before filling.
- Fill containers as prescribed by batch tickets, pick tickets, and export order sheets.
- Prepare containers for shipment, including labeling, palletizing, and wrapping.
- Complete work orders and record batch documentation accurately in JDE.
- Calculate batch yields and respond appropriately.
- Store and stage inventory for batch preparation, further processing, and shipping.
- Assist in inventory tracking, counts, and transfers using JDE.
- Load and unload box trucks, flat‑beds, tanker trucks, rail cars, and bulk raw materials—either manually or with material‑handling equipment.
- Manage shipping responsibilities: receive POs in JDE, ship items in JDE, communicate late shipments to OTC group, prepare UPS and Fed Ex shipments, and call trucks for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to plant safety policies.
- Contain, report, and clean up spills or leaks immediately.
- Operate forklifts and other motorized vehicles safely.
- Hold team members accountable for safety and quality procedures.
- Participate in the site safety committee.
- Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Ensure correct execution of activities per plant processes and comply with established regulations.
- Label and package finished products correctly according to processes and instructions.
- Collect product samples for laboratory analysis.
- Order, maintain, and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
- Segregate waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Apply and comply with all safety regulations and instructions.
- Highlight any potential health and safety or accident issues to the production supervisor or manager.
