Mechanical Engineer III

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the commercial vehicle industry, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting Engine Assembly and Axle Assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting that will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $47 - $54/hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Provide maintenance engineering support for Engine Assembly operations and Axle Assembly areas as needed.

+ Troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and production issues to minimize downtime and support daily operations.

+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures for existing and new equipment.

+ Review drawings and BOMs to establish recommended spare parts lists and support equipment reliability.

+ Lead tooling, process improvement, and product change implementation projects.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.

+ Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in an assembly environment.

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and equipment maintenance practices.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams, supervisors, and skilled trades.
