Staffing Synergies is seeking a dedicated and organized Production Line Leader to join our team in Detroit, MI
. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining production rates, ensuring the highest quality of goods, and fostering a safe work environment while adhering to GMPs and internal SOPs.
- Location: 201 Waterman St., Detroit, MI 48209.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Flexible to job demands).
As a Production Line Leader, you will supervise Palletizers, Material Handlers, Packers, and Line Workers to ensure operational excellence.
- Line Preparation & Setup: Plan assigned jobs by reading specifications, reviewing First Articles, and creating samples before line workers arrive.
- Team Leadership: Train every line worker on their specific tasks and ensure they understand the requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure all components, lot numbers, and date codes are accurate; oversee the final inspection of every finished good piece.
- Inventory & Documentation: Reconcile all components at the end of shifts, including rejects and samples, and review documentation before Quality Department submission.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment by educating personnel on equipment use and ensuring the use of safety devices to avoid accidents.
- Efficiency: Ensure daily production goals and revenue expectations are met or exceeded without compromising quality standards.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. - Soft Skills: Strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships across functional boundaries.
- System Knowledge: Ability to use software (such as Nulogy) to track information and match RPOs.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time.
