Assembler
Join our team as an Assembler for our state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to assembling large AC units. You will be working in one of our newly established plants, focusing on precision assembly work across various stations. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks in a designated station.
- Assist in assembling large AC units for commercial buildings such as hospitals and apartment complexes.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly operations.
- Adapt to changing work assignments based on customer needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
- Engage in additional tasks such as brazing, soldering, machine operation, and quality checks once fully trained.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.
- Learn to read and understand blueprints for accurate assembly.
Essential Skills
- 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Physically capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to climb into large AC units for assembly purposes.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of assembly experience.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical experience.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kentwood, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
