As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a key role in producing precision‑machined components while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established quality procedures, production standards, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with teammates during shift handoffs to ensure smooth production.
- 2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of quality inspections and production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and work throughout a 12-hour production shift.
- Swiss-style CNC lathe experience (Citizen or similar)
- Multi-axis CNC machining experience
- Aerospace, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
