We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II (I2) to support the execution of manufacturing projects across multiple production facilities. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating equipment installations, supporting plant initiatives, managing supplier execution, and ensuring successful project deployment during both launch and steady-state operations.
The ideal candidate has a manufacturing or plant engineering background, strong project coordination skills, experience working with suppliers and production teams, and the ability to travel extensively to support plant floor implementation activities.
This role supports multiple concurrent launch programs while maintaining ongoing plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives. The team is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while minimizing downtime and production disruption.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in:
Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering discipline - Manufacturing plant experience within automotive or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience supporting equipment installations, launches, or production improvements.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional plant teams.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, and cycle time impacts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
