Lathe Machinist

I’m currently working with multiple companies throughout the Metro Detroit area that are actively looking for experienced Lathe Machinists. These opportunities are available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with pay ranging from $23 - $35/hr depending on experience, skills, and the specific position. Several of these roles involve CNC lathe setup, operation, tooling changes, blueprint reading, and inspection, so experience with tight tolerances, precision machining, and quality inspection is highly valued.

Aerospace experience is a strong plus, as is experience working with challenging materials, GD&T, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. Depending on the position, experience with CNC programming, offsets, tooling, and multi-axis equipment may also be beneficial.
