Our client is a Tier 1 precision machining supplier with a 150,000 sq. ft. facility in metro Detroit, producing complex aluminum, steel, and titanium components for automotive OEMs and defense prime contractors. The shop runs state-of-the-art Mazak, DMG Mori, and Haas equipment across two production shifts.
As CNC Machinist you will be responsible for the setup and operation of 3- and 4-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers and CNC lathes. You will read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts, perform in-process inspection using CMM, micrometers, bore gauges, and surface plates, and make toolpath offsets to hold tolerances as tight as ±0.0002".

Requirements- 3+ years of hands-on CNC milling or turning experience in a production environment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings with GD&T
- Proficiency with precision hand tools and basic CMM operation
- Experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls preferred
- Journeyman Machinist certificate or equivalent vocational training a plus
