Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support equipment and tooling validation within a casting manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for qualifying machinery, supporting tooling changeovers, performing equipment buy-offs, and ensuring project milestones are completed on time.

The position is based onsite at a casting manufacturing facility in Bay City, MI
, with occasional onsite support at supplier locations as needed.

• Verify equipment and tooling throughout all stages of product and equipment validation.
• Qualify machinery and support tooling changeovers.
• Perform equipment buy-offs and ensure project milestones are met on time.
• Provide onsite support at supplier locations as needed.
• Analyze and interpret downtime and performance data.
• Implement corrective actions based on downtime analysis.
• Work closely with plant and supplier teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related experience
  .
• Experience with equipment validation and machinery qualification.
• Ability to interpret downtime and performance data.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining and block/prismatic machining processes
  .
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in casting or automotive environments
  .
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Manufacturing mindset and good communication skills.
