Shipper​/Receiver - 1st Shift

Job Summary This position is primarily responsible for executing shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. It also includes light production duties to support on-time production and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Position Summary:

This position will focus primarily on shipping and receiving responsibilities. Additional responsibilities for performing occasional, light production duties to ensure on-time production and shipment of product while adhering to high standards of quality, safety and customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading trucks and moving finished goods/raw materials throughout facilities, including the use of fork trucks.

Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts.

Store and retrieve raw materials, finished goods, and supplies in the warehouse.

Clean up spills of non-hazardous items.

Prepare and inspect drums/bins, etc. for shipment.

Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility through performance of general housekeeping duties.

Confirm paperwork is complete for all shipments and correct when needed.

Loading and unloading of overseas containers.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma/GED Previous shipping and receiving preferred1-2 years of related chemical manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Demands Ability to move drums up to 500 pounds with mechanical equipment in a safe manner as directed.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds

May be required to stand for long periods and walk great distances daily

Routinely required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear

May be required to work in small spaces and high locations
