We are seeking a dynamic Vice President for Advancement to lead and enhance our development department during a pivotal time in our nation's history. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in nonprofit fundraising, with specific expertise in earned revenue strategies. In this strategic role, you will spearhead long-term growth initiatives, diversify our revenue streams, and collaborate closely with the President, Program Directors, and Board to ensure alignment with our mission.
We are looking for someone with 12-15 years of relevant experience who is deeply committed to our values. You will also engage in external relations and communications, while leading a high-performing team to ensure exceptional advancement operations. We seek a team-oriented collaborator who is a creative problem solver and strategic thinker, with strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to expand our funding base.
This role involves frequent travel, and you will represent our mission with integrity and sound judgment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, and you should be prepared to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As VP, you will oversee all facets of the development process, from establishing ambitious fundraising goals to ensuring legal compliance in fundraising activities.
