Part-Time Registered Nurse

We have an immediate opportunity for a part‑time Registered Nurse to work at our Moross clinic.

This exciting opportunity allows nurses to practice to a high degree of professional autonomy in a challenging, yet highly rewarding setting. The Clinic Nurse assists physicians and other providers with direct patient care, conducts follow‑up with patients, provides data entry and outcome tracking, carries out services as part of a comprehensive medical team and will serve to assure quality and efficiency.

Job Type: Part‑time

• Triage of patients presenting with questions and concerns
• Assessments, education, extensive orders for labs, and testing using established protocols
• Accurate and thorough nursing documentation
• Respond to Athena's calls to request medication refills, medical advice, and care coordination using established protocols for medication refills
• Review lab results, respond using established protocols, and notify patients of abnormal labs
• Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team (including medical providers, medical assistants, behavioral health staff, and reception/administration support staff) to provide comprehensive care
• Assist in Care Coordination for patients
• Communicate and facilitate positive relationships with our community partners, including local hospitals and community service agencies
• Other nursing‑related tasks that may arise throughout the day

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Must have a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• Proficiency with computers and Electronic Health Records will be essential.
• Knowledge and experience using EPIC is a plus.
