Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Endoscopy Inpatient and Outpatient

Schedule: Full Time – Day Shift – 9:00am to 7:30pm (4 – 10 hour shifts). On-call: 1 shift per month 8:00am–4:00pm (weekend/holiday); 1 Saturday every 5–6 weeks. Orientation:
Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Candidate Preferences: 1 year of nursing experience required, preferably in a procedural environment. Strong IV skills preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced endoscopy unit. This position will mainly consist of inpatient & outpatient procedures. Must have ACLS or obtain certification within 1 year. Interested in speaking with a recruiter? Schedule a call.

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  
  REQUIRED:
  
  BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES
  
  REQUIRED:
  
  Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
