RN Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab – 40 Hours Weekly – Day Shift

Sign On Bonus: $5,000

This position is a full‑time Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Henry Ford St John Hospital. The role involves caring for adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM. 10‑hour shifts, four per week. Rotating on‑call duties on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Requirements include at least one weekday on call per week, at least one weekend on call every 4–5 weekends, two holidays per year, and finishing day duties at least once per week.

The Cardiac Cath Lab is a 4‑lab department performing 15–18 procedures daily. Patients are adults (18+). Staff includes RN, PT, IRT, and support team.

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

• Prior Critical Care nursing experience.
