Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg -  at DMC Receiving Hospital, Detroit. This role is part of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for leading nursing care, managing a group of patients, and collaborating with physicians and other health‑care providers.

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
• Leads the nursing team, teaching, supervising, and ensuring quality of care.
• Works with ancillary and support services to meet patient needs.

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan required.
• AHA BLS required.
