Job Overview
Detroit Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU – Intensive Care Unit. The role focuses on delivering high‑level nursing care, leadership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision of the nursing team within the ICU environment.
Shift & Employment• 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts
• Part‑time staff position
• Ongoing employment
Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health‑care providers.
- Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
- Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision‑making activities.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting preferred.
