Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan - DMC Campus, located in Detroit, MI, is a 28‑bed Critical Care hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

• The LPN/LVN is responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Ensures the unit runs smoothly, organized, and efficiently under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Provides direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.
• Demonstrates clinical competence, manages patient care, improves quality of care, establishes professional relationships, utilizes professional skills, fulfills responsibilities of the hospital, and develops clinical expertise per specialty.

• Current, valid, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
• IV Certification.

• One year of clinical experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Three years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
• One year of area‑specific experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
