Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to a group of patients and their families. The RN demonstrates leadership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers
- Delegate, assess, and evaluate patient care activities
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
- Communicate effectively with team members and support services
- Participate in shared decision-making and report to senior management
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- AHA BLS certification
- EKG training preferred
- Experience in orthopedic, surgical, or telemetry nursing is advantageous
