We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our healthcare team in Detroit, United States. As an Onco Stat Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional clinical care to cancer patients with unwavering dedication, demonstrating professional expertise, empathy, and organizational excellence. - Passionately assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional health status with meticulous attention to detail, documenting findings accurately in electronic health records to ensure continuity of exceptional care
- Expertly administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications according to established protocols and physician orders, demonstrating your commitment to delivering the highest standard of cancer treatment
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including wound care, IV therapy, and symptom management, driven by your dedication to alleviating suffering and improving quality of life
- Educate patients and their families with genuine care about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies, empowering them to navigate their cancer journey with confidence and hope
- Collaborate enthusiastically with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including oncologists, social workers, and palliative care specialists, united in your shared passion for comprehensive cancer patient care
- Vigilantly monitor patients for adverse reactions and complications, reporting changes promptly to the clinical team with the urgency that reflects your commitment to patient safety and optimal outcomes
