Team Leader – Quality Assurance & Inspection

Pay Rate: $19- $21hour + OVERTIME

Location: Travel to manufacturing plants and warehouses in Metro DETROIT

The Team Leader plays a critical role in quality inspection project execution
, overseeing daily operations, managing customer deliverables, and supervising teams of quality inspectors. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
, as well as the ability to travel to manufacturing plants and warehouse locations
. Team Leaders ensure consistent quality standards, customer satisfaction, and team performance through hands‑on supervision and ongoing training.

• Ensure all teams operate in compliance with quality, safety, and customer requirements
• Lead and supervise teams of quality inspectors
• Set up projects and act as the primary point of contact for customer needs
• Develop work instructions and train inspectors on inspection procedures
• Perform hands‑on inspection of parts as required
• Maintain strong customer relationships and communicate job requirements clearly
• Serve as interim leader when the Project Supervisor is unavailable
• Ensure team members have proper tools, equipment, and gauges
• Complete all required documentation and reporting
• Participate in ongoing training and development
• Follow company policies and perform additional duties as assigned

• Excellent communication and team‑building skills
• Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection preferred (not required)
