Redegate USA is supporting a critical supplier performance improvement initiative within the automotive manufacturing sector and is seeking an experienced Senior Quality & Continuous Improvement Leader for an onsite assignment in the Metro Detroit area.
This is a hands‑on manufacturing leadership role focused on supplier quality recovery, operational improvement, accountability, and execution. The ideal candidate is a proven operator who can work directly with plant leadership, quality, production, and maintenance teams to identify issues, drive corrective actions, and improve overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supplier quality recovery and operational improvement initiatives
- Drive accountability across production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Identify root causes and support corrective action implementation
- Improve quality, delivery, and operational performance
- Participate in operational reviews and performance discussions
- Monitor progress against recovery plans and key performance metrics
- Escalate critical issues and risks when appropriate
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on sustainable results
- 8–12+ years of manufacturing, quality, continuous improvement, or operational leadership experience
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience required
- Proven track record improving supplier quality and operational performance
- Strong plant floor leadership and communication skills
- Experience leading corrective actions and driving accountability
- Hands‑on operator capable of influencing teams and delivering measurable results
Initial 1–2 month engagement with potential for extension based on client needs and project requirements.
