Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant
- Department of Oncology at its Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):

Unique duties include IRB approval, regulatory document maintenance, participant screening and recruitment coordination of participant follow-up, data collection and database maintenance for research projects managed by the lab. Assist with study participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and data entry. Perform other research tasks including literature reviews, preparing manuscripts, data analysis, abstract and conference presentations, and community outreach. Scholarly opportunities (e.g., authorship of conference presentations, manuscripts) will be available.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. Experience performing basic research techniques or interacting with human subjects is preferred. Knowledge of research design, protocols, and analysis; knowledge of regulatory aspects of clinical research. Experience using data processing and statistical software (e.g. Qualtrics, Microsoft Excel, SPSS; R)
