Line Cook at Buddy's Pizza.

Over 75 years ago, a new style of pizza was born in the Motor City. Detroit‑Style Pizza is recognizable by its iconic square shape, crunchy, cheesy corners. Founded in 1946 using a steel auto pan, Buddy's has grown to over 20 locations and continues to expand across the Midwest.

• Checks and dates all deliveries received and reports any variances to chef in charge.
• Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned daily.
• Processes inventory requisition and receives supplies for quality production.
• Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and plans.
• Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for consistency.
• Maintains a favorable work relationship with all company employees to promote a harmonious environment.
• Always provide a favorable image of Buddy’s Pizza.
• Demonstrates teamwork by assisting other employees with duties as needed.
• Maintains the highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance.
• Displays team‑building skills and handles assignments with a positive attitude.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to read food orders rung in the kitchen.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably.
• Ability to reach, lift, bend and carry heavy objects.
