Sawyer Home & Garden Center is now seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and knowledgeable seasonal Gourmet Team Member to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service – SGC may be a great fit for you. As part of our Gourmet Team, you’ll be creating a welcoming environment while ensuring our shelves are stocked, our products are fresh and our customers leave with exactly what they need!

• Cheerfully greeting customers with enthusiasm, providing friendly & knowledgeable assistance.
• Keep shelves fully stocked, neatly faced & clearly priced.
• Develop expertise in our gourmet product selection to better offer informed recommendations to our customers.
• Maintain cleanliness & organization in all areas, from sales floor to storage areas, coolers & freezers.
• Receive product deliveries, following established SGC procedures, ensuring quality & accuracy.
• Follow best practices for food handling, storage and safety, upholding our commitment to excellence.
• Move products/displays as needed to enhance store presentation.
• Cross-train in various areas to support the team, contributing to a seamless operation.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment – completing tasks that are strenuous in nature – standing, lifting, bending & regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Commitment to excellent customer service, showing up each day with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Available Full-Time, on weekends and holidays. Seasonal position, our hours of operation are 9 AM – 7 PM daily.
• Have a flexible schedule that includes working weekends & holidays.

• Strong ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment,
• Maintain a sense of urgency while staying comfortable in a fast-paced setting involving many people while keeping up a team oriented personal attitude.
• Adaptable to changing tasks, willing to learn about products and procedures.
• High attention to detail.
• Work well independently & with a team.
