Purpose or role of the position:Serve as the student leadership partner to the Mail & Spirit Store Retail & Service Manager by supporting Spirit Store marketing, photography, visual merchandising, sales communication, and department improvements. This position collaborates wit the Spirit Store Lead and Mailroom Lead to support store operations, assist with backroom organization, analyze sales trends, and strengthen the overall Spirit Store experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Mail & Spirit Store Retail & Service Manager to support department goals, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Serve as the student point person for Spirit Store marketing, photography, communications, and promotional projects.
• Collaborate with the Spirit Store Lead, Mailroom Lead, and Marketing Department to coordinate projects, promotions, and department needs.
• Assist with staging, merchandising, and organizing the Spirit Store front and back room to improve product visibility, inventory flow, and customer experience.
• Capture, organize, and maintain product photography, promotional materials, documentation, and media resources.
• Analyze sales and inventory reports to identify trends and support marketing and merchandising decisions.
• Train and support student employees by developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and department processes to ensure consistent procedures and expectations.
• Provide feedback, recommendations, and operation support to the Mail & Spirit Store Retail & Service Manager, including Spirit Store and Mailroom assistance as needed. Perform Spirit Store and Mailroom support duties as needed.

• Basic knowledge of retail operations preferred.

Position Expectations:
This is a leadership position requiring initiative, creativity, professionalism, and accountability. The Student Lead works one-on-one with the Spirit Store Manager and other student leads to support marketing efforts, improve organization, and enhance the customer experience. Successful candidates take ownership of projects, communicate effectively, maintain consistent processes, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
