Job Overview
The Solutions Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and qualifying new sales opportunities through targeted lead generation activities. This role will focus on prospecting, researching potential customers, and helping drive the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen understanding of the sales process, and the ability to build relationships with prospects. This position will be expected to increase the number of outbound leads driven to the sales team and may be required to qualify inbound leads.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identifies your target audience, creates a sales funnel
- Attracts new clients and creates sales pipelines
- Manages a database of leads and captures and adds new leads for sales cycles
- Contacts prospective clients via outbound email and cold calling to discuss the value of a product or service and establish interest
- Coordinated sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information
- Ensures adequacy of sales‑related equipment or material
- Arranges and ships sales materials for trade shows or conferences
- Handles processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
- Informs clients of unforeseen delays or problems
- Supports sales teams around the country
- Assists in the preparation and organization of promotional material or events
- Serves as a sales lead generator to answer phone calls and emails about sales questions or concerns
- May follow up with sales representatives
- Ensures adherence to laws and policies
Solutions Specialist
QualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
- Proven experience in sales; experience as a Sales Lead Generator
- Work experience in a similar setting, preferably with customer service, sales, or office administration
- Familiarity with CRM, Salesforce software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in English
- Well‑organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem‑solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, sometimes high‑stress work environment
This position carries no supervisory responsibilities.
